Esmeralda is a wanderer. She is made from recycled bits of string, plastic bags, can pulls, scraps of materials and has a bone rucksack to carry all her belongings in.

The basic skeleton is aluminium wire and putty for the hips and chest. Scrunched paper and masking tape were used to build the body shape. The head was created using the same materials and a basic hole in the bottom connected the head to the body. This was still secure but was limited in movement as could swivel but not lift well. The papery texture is easy to move but not robust for long-running projects.
